As many of you know, I am a huge fan of the free program, Zotero. I have tried to get any and every academic I know to use this program. For those of you who are not in the know, Zotero can eliminate world hunger. Actually that last bit was a lie, but Zotero has helped me organize quotes and thoughts that I have on various books that I read, while generating bibliographic information in a citation style of my chosing (I use the SBL Manual of Style for most of my papers).
Today as I was looking at my blog reader, I came across a post from Phil Gons on the Logo’s blog. Phil illustrates how one can very easily add your digital library to Zotero in a relatively short time. This was very helpful. If you use Libronix software and Zotero this should make your life very easy. Thanks for the tip Phil!
p.s.
The only caveat is that if you export your entire Libronix library those stupid Wiersbe “Be” books (and their ilk) will also end up in your Zotero library. This will not be helpful being that you will most likely never need to quote these materials in an academic paper. I wish Logos would allow us to trade the liscences of titles we don’t or will never use for titles that make more sense in a scholar’s package.
